This is an 8 track EP that I've been working on for the last few months, and that I'm very proud of. The Further is spiritually known to be a dark realm that you can reach when you travel too far during a lucid dream. It's a world far beyond our own, yet it's all around us, a place without time as we know it. A dark realm filled with the tortured souls, and lifeless beings.
I grew up on the far southside of Chicago in a neighborhood called Roseland, aka 'the wild hundreds', and to be honest It was no different from 'The Further'. Not only was it the further region of the city, but for me everyone who was living in that area wasn't really alive. It was an area where everyone was completely consumed by there surrounding, and It was also the inspiration behind this project.
These are stories from The Further. Stories of escape, heartbreak, paranoia, being content with what you have and so on. I hope you all enjoy.
